Amidst all the Wushu and Tai Chi performances during the 2010 USAWKF Master’s Demonstration, one performance in particular stood out. No one really understood what was going on when Shifu James Chin walked on stage reading a newspaper, wearing a boonie hat, and carrying a bag of groceries. However, things started to make more sense as the music started and two suspicious looking kids began to follow him onto the stage. What happened next was a master’s demonstration of Shuai Jiao for self defense! Here are some action shots of the performance. And of course, the performance itself!

January 22nd, 2010. The International Chinese Martial Arts Championships Kick-Off was held in the 42.000 carpeted square feet Great Exhibit Hall of the Town and Country Hotel; a space which provided large competition rings and which will allow for additional rings in the future.
